Summary | 0002085: Player rushes at AI with attack held down, AI forgets to draw sword, melees ineffectively with empty hands
Description | If you run at an an AI with a sword drawn and held back in attack, and they go straight to the combat state, they can forget to draw their sword before starting MeleeCombatTask, meaning they enter into combat with no sword drawn and all the attacks/parries are ineffective because they are happening to the sword on the AI's hip.

NOTE: I marked this "major" because you could theoretically exploit this to kill all the AI in a map.
Verified. First try, the AI took the first hit, then pulled his sword. Second try, he didn't take his sword out. I'll try to understand what's going on. |
|
Given the combat changes I made a while ago, this behavior should no longer occur. Let's keep an eye out, and if it doesn't occur again, we'll close this. |
|
I haven't noticed this for some time now.
