Summary0002802: Bitmap "texts" cannot be translated
DescriptionThe menu contains a fairly large selection of bitmaps that serve as headlines, or buttons. We need to find a way to create text variants for these, so they can be translated.
Additional InformationTwo different fonts are used here:

* Carleton (that is already available as D3 font, albeit the size does not exactly match)
* Mason Alternate Serif (we do not have this as D3 font, nor as TTF)

Also, the buttons pose the additional difficulty that they must highlight in a two-color version (with a red glow). Some headlines also come in a two-color version, using a white "outline" or "glow".

I found a way to create the "glow" effect by adding a "glow variant" of the font, then use two fonts layed over each other with a small 1x1 pixel offset. See http://modetwo.net/darkmod/index.php?/topic/12863-translating-the-tdm-gui/page__view__findpost__p__262822 for reference.

Now the only work left is to replace all the bitmap definitions in the GUI with strings.

Most of the GUIs are already done, including the main menu, the shop, failure/Success screens, as well as the mission statistic.

A few are still missing, like:

* the red-glow buttons in the settings menu
* the text "Objectives" in the main menu (the in-game one works already)
* the headlines in the shop

A few texts use a different font (mainly the big headlines, like "The Dark Mod" and "Load ยท Save"), these cannot yet be replaced until we create a new bitmap font specifically for these. That is however, quite minor.

Everything except headlines in the different font and the Load/Save buttons is done now. The no longer used button graphics have also been removed.
