| Summary | 0000404: Ambient lights not working in render mode | ||||
| Description | 0000108 speaks of back faces not working properly for ambients, but it seems something new is wrong (how new, I'm not sure - this was mentioned on the forum recently, and I was unaware of it). Now ambients don't seem to illuminate at all in render mode - I've got solid blackness within ambients turned all the way up. | ||||

Since preview renders always apear to be a lot darker than the actual game (TDS,Q3,D3) , would it be possible somehow to define an default editor ambientlightlevel, which is not used by Doom 3? But then again switching in and out an editorambient light would be no problem either! |

| This doesn't seem to be the case - my light using the lights/ambientlightnfo texture in this testmap of mine is working ok. It doesn't illuminate the backsides of brushes as reported in 0000108, but that's already covered there. | |
