| Summary | 0000624: Hidden and filtered items can be affected | ||||
| Description | I'll go ahead and track this so it isn't lost. But all of you reporting things on the forums and not here, but reading this now: don't expect this every time! :P Conversation starts and follows here: http://modetwo.net/darkmod/index.php?s=&showtopic=7591&view=findpost&p=149124 Basically, items hidden or filtered can still remain selected (prefs | orthoview | show size info), affected by subtraction, and who knows what else. I'd assume anything hidden or filtered should be treated as if it doesn't exist: no operations affect it, and it is auto-deselected. | ||||

| I can look into the Subtract stuff and possibly the discussed selection issue, but it's very hard to catch all cases where hidden items might be affected. There's just too much code to traverse and check and not all cases can be recognised by looking at the code. | |
| Closing this - it's too generic. Any particular instances of this problem can and will be reported separately. | |
