| Description | The current implementation, the "Gamma & Brightness"-room in Training Mission is a gamified version that comes with some drawbacks: * The method requres the user to swich back and forth between the instructions in the book, the tests in the room, and the settings in the menu. * Instructions are ambiguous ("While this book is showing"; it is unclear which state of the book the user is expected to compare against: an unselected book, a selected book, or an opened book. They all look very different.) (This is sad because it is obvious that a great deal of time and effort was put into the well-intended current implementation.) Proposed solution: 1) (preferred) Move samples to measure against (The look of the book, the letters on the wall, the dark-corner-test) into settings menu, and do preferably both of: 1a) A step-by-step wizard in the settings with one task per step: ** Adjust value so you can/can't see/read X; ** Adjust value so page is almost completely white; ** Adjust value so you can see, but not read, X; ** Adjust value so page is creamy with textures and not white. 1b) Fit all settings, and samples to measure against, on one page in the GUI settings. 2) (also) In settings, add a button to restore to default values. Perhaps also add a dialog asking for confirmation before applying the restored values. | ||||
