| Description | Here are a couple more properties which need smart incrementing when loading a prefab or duplicating. 1. Load up the prefab: door_wood_3hinge_withhandles.pfb Note the relations between the parts. 2. Load the same prefab again, and notice: "name" for all entities was properly incremented "bind" was properly incremented However, "door_handle" was not incremented "frob_peer" was not incremented 3. Try the same, but with duplication instead of prefab loading; same result. | ||||

Sweet, this seems very smart now -- didn't fool it with numbers, letters, or even nonsense fields. And good that change of name updates binds (etc.), but not the other way 'round (change of bind updating names would be a big problem). |
