Summary | 0000692: Find and Replace - seek to material
Description | Currently the Find and Replace textures functionality gives a dialog from which we choose the textures to replace and what to replace with. Some usability problems: 1. you can only (that I know of; paste shader didn't work either) manually seek the texture you want. If you don't know the name of it, you're even worse off. 2. each time you open the seek folder, it must reload the texture library I imagine 0000002 might be a matter of saving memory, so maybe it's good, maybe it's just inconvenience. But each time I press the folder buttons, there is the characteristic long pause while the textures defs are reloaded (or whatever). For 0000001, it'd be great if the user could simply lift the textures in question from brushes, as they would normally do with the Media tab. You open Find/Replace, middle click a brush to set the "Find", then middle click another brush to set the "Replace", and the manual work is done.
